Tam Chuc, Ninh Binh | November 20-23, 2025

The Vietnam Kendo Federation (VKF) is proud to announce the All Vietnam Kendo Championships 2025 (AVKC), organized for the first time by VKF, under the guiding spirit of Connection, Growth, and Development. This marks a significant milestone in the history of Kendo in Vietnam.

The event will take place on November 22–23, 2025 at the Tam Chúc Pagoda Complex, Ninh Bình (formerly Hà Nam) — a site renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural and spiritual heritage. Participating competitors will be provided with comprehensive logistical support, including accommodations and transportation, ensuring a professional, large-scale, and inspiring competition environment.

AVKC 2025 presents a valuable opportunity for Kendo practitioners nationwide to meet, exchange knowledge, and enhance their skills through competition, networking, and technical seminars. It also serves as a special occasion for the Vietnamese Kendo community to unite, strengthen connections, and promote the spirit of budo across the country.

In conjunction with the championships, a 1 Kyu to 3 Dan examination will be held on November 21, 2025, under the official authorization of the International Kendo Federation (FIK). Certificates will be issued directly by FIK. The examination and accompanying seminar will be led by Higashi Yoshimi Sensei, Hanshi 8-dan and Head Coach of the Japan National Kendo Team at the 19th World Kendo Championship, offering a unique opportunity to learn, take grading exams, and receive international certification right here in Vietnam.

Beyond its sporting significance, the All Vietnam Kendo Championships 2025 is also a cultural event, where the vibrancy of Vietnamese cultural identity meets the traditions of Japanese martial arts. It aims not only to advance Kendo in Vietnam but also to showcase the country’s rich heritage and hospitality to the international community.

Together, let us open a new chapter in the journey of Kendo in Vietnam — We look forward to welcoming you to Tam Chúc!
